Waste of two hours. With all the power of whatever beings are above earth, having to reach a certain locale to receive the boy made no sense. Too, how did the boy become one of them? Why the hundreds of miles of alien city structures appearing to receive the boy? CG good and appealing. Acting strong. Plot hazy. Story not gripping. There is no compelling narrative that drives the viewer to take notice and engage interest. Too much “empty space” and little content to allow for any comprehension as to what you just spent 2 hours trying to figure out. Hollow escapism.
