Fifty-eight page wonder. Powerful story about an honest, passionate and deep love between two men make us empathize with them as well as for the cause of LGBTQ+. As the reviewers call it: Proulx doesn’t merely tell her stories or participate in them, but convinces you with every word. This 58-page story, adapted into a movie in 2005 went on to win four Academy Awards. For aspiring writer like me, there cannot be many inspirational works of literature like Brokeback Mountain.

The film falls flat due to a poor storyline and plot. I would say it's disappointing and nowhere near its prequels. Despite the ladies put in their best efforts to look 'bossy' the heist could be completed only with the help of The Amazing Yen. So it can't be claimed an all-women show. However, the admirable acting by the veteran actresses Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, and Anne Hathaway is a relief and the subtleties they displayed on screen is just marvelous but that can't compensate for other deficiencies.
