The show is so performative, at first the teacher wasn’t even being racist he literally just said she couldn’t do a test because she was new... what bothers me the most is the fact the writers are white women writing on struggles of a black person... if you do more seasons PLEASE get some more diversity. Have some black writers who actually experienced the issues of being black. It looks like you got it off of TikTok or from a google search, not accurate at all. The show also contradicts itself by talking and encouraging women empowerment and later talks down on other women—or shame them for their PAST actions, in which they’re not accurate at all. We also see this happening with race. Ginny randomly speaks out on black issues and then proceeds to contradict herself. There’s more to it but over all this show is awful. 0/10.
