All in all, looking back, we should have stayed with the original three and Rogue One and just been very happy to get four films.
The more they've shown us, the more human the Star Wars universe has become (and worse still the more American) and therefore less magical, less fun and less emotionally resonant.
The Rise of Starwalker marks the point where the storytelling has fallen to the level of a Tombraider sub level - characters shoot about all over the galaxy chasing nonsensical artifacts in contrived dramas that resolve before you've worked out you were supposed to care.
At least 5 characters could have been combined, 5 silly sub plots edited out along with the first 45 mins or so.
If this had been the level of the first SW film released, we'd never have heard of any of them!
So dissappointing.
