Demonstrating the power of cinema, wow! oh wow! That scene where Glasha says, "He's deaf, he's crazy! His family was killed". The zoom-ins were spectacular. You are involved in the film, it is speaking to you and in the gut-wrenching moments you can't escape. You can't escape because it's too well-made and artistic to look away but it comes with its moments of horror.
One thing about Russian fils is they intend to take their time. So, the pace will be slow but it's linear and worth sticking too. I am blown, reminded me of Tarkovsky.
