If you sacrifice historical accuracy at the altar of Political Correctness for the sake of 'inclusivity', you fail the first test of an authentic drama. To pretend that Kent had this mixture of many different creeds and colours in the 50's, and no-one would've bat an eyelid is not only a gross misrepresentation of demographics, it also takes you completely out of the show as you're painfully aware all the time that you're watching a modern day revisiting of the decade. Stop trying to pander to a few attention-seekers on Twitter, and understand that the vast majority of people want authenticity rather than this insane rewriting of history. Ugh.

A film that won Best Picture because it was GOOD, not because it cynically tried to capture the moaning Twitter mob who like to complain about everything. SHOCK HORROR!!!

Well acted and cast, but very predictable and a little bland. If you want an undemanding dose of afternoon whimsy, this may hit the spot. Others who like surprises and twists in their movies should look elsewhere. 6/10
