There are times that they should leave situations to the police and ambulance paramedics. There was a show I was watching today where one of the life savers were being assisted by a surf board rider assisting the lifesaver with one of two people that were drowning and the life saver motioned the surfer away and then complained he was on his own with two people. OMG,,,, There was a man who was attacked and blood everywhere and the public had the blood stemmed and awaiting for the paramedics and in come the life savers for no apparent reason other than making themselves look good to the paramedics and the TV camera.... OMG
