I just watched the film and I must say, I'm pretty disappointed... I have been a lifelong spongebob fan (19 years old) and could not wait for this film to come out. Oh boy where to begin... animation was nice to look at however the original style would have captivated me more, like the first film. They changed the story of how Spongebob and Sandy met (this really pulled me out of the film), and the random dream sequence that featured Keanu Reaves and Snoop Dogg???!!! Unnecessary and not spongebob related at all. I am aware they included celeb "The Hoff" in the first film (he actually saved the hero's and was necessary) however this "sage" character I more like a cheesy-motivator "the courage is inside of you" blah blah blah, they used Keanu for clout and that's all.... Sorry for my negativity, but I have never been more disappointed in a film. If this is the best the writers can do, please don't make another film. 0/10 do not recommend.

Honestly, couldn't be more boring and predictable, I stopped paying attention mid-way through. The only reason I (and i'm sure many others) even considered watching this, was because of Noah. The story-line had so much potential, but was honestly too cheesy for me (I'm 18 years old), would not recommend watching. To put this movie into perspective...'The Kissing Booth' had one of the worst acting and scripts I think I've ever seen, and yet it was still way more captivating than this film. Sorry Netflix, but I'm disappointed:((
