I waited a long time for this game. When I watched the teaser trailer I felt like a little kid, excited and anxious to get my hands on it when it released. The fact that the game was marketed as a "do anything, be anything" sort of RPG put me in the mindset that I could spend countless hours on this game exploring, looting and shooting. I wanted to be able to say that this video game was one of the best I'd ever played in the genre, but that is not the case. I have about 20 hours on the game right now, and so far, it is not at all what the marketing and advertisements made it out to be.
There are so many bugs, glitchy interactions and misleading side quests that inhibit the overall quality if the game. It looks good, but lacks substance and depth. The main story is frantic and fast paced, which I like, but I warn you: do not buy this game if you're under the impression that anything is possible, because it's not.
With that being said I am very disappointed. It feels like I ordered an iPhone and got a Motorola.
