One of the most real and down-to-the-bone honest shows about the ebbs and flows, the peaks and valleys of human existence and it’s about a talking horse who is a washed-up star of the yesteryear. The friendships, the romances, the occupational hazards are tied with a bow of addictions, insanity and all other grim realities. The humour is dark but emotionally authentic, the characters are incredible but wounded and broken, as people are. It was excruciating to bid farewell to this series as I saw many unblemished, unchanged, unpolished parts of myself reflected throughout the life of this show better than ever before. A massive thank-you to the creators and writers of this show for planting a clearer mirror in front of their audiences than anyone else ever had the guts to.
