Wanted to like it but the plot was pretty thin with too many sub-plots which contributed little to the main plot line. Acting was somewhat overwrought with lots of earnest speeches. There would be no chance a father/daughter could be in such a dominant power position in the public service. Ridiculous.

Good grief. I’m only giving it one star as it’s the lowest score available. Truly cringeworthy characters, soap-drama dialogue and missing interesting plot lines such as the background of the Skripols and the identification of the Russian perpetrators. The portrayal of the Director of Public Health is so wet - like she couldn’t manage a toilet block let alone a regional crisis. As for the representation of the policeman Nick Bailey OMG. Did they sue the BBC I wonder? Anyway, do yourself a favour and read about it on Wikipedia - it’ll take a fraction of the time and be far more interesting. The money should have been spent on a documentary rather than this melodramatic drivel.

Exasperating TV. Third episode we’ve watched and in the latest show we’ve just watched some couple build an exceptionally boring house in Hobart. For some reason we are meant to celebrate the fact the house is full of curves and the owner-builder has no idea about design or project management. The end result is that after 3 years the house is still not finished and inside it looks like a cheap housing estate development. Is this really the best architecture this show can deliver?
