Interesting story line; excellent expression of character by the Super Star, the antagonist character is strong, comedy flows in without breaking the story, perfectly measured romance scenes, and an excellent execution of the direction. After Baasha, another Rajini film that people will watch infinite number of times. It has a police story, a love story, a sacrifice, a broken family, an angry father, a loving daughter, a loss, vengeance, an aged cop who is not ready to give up.
I would easily watch the movie once a week without getting bored. I watched it on the big screen, the big star is shiny. For Rajini fans, it is celebration. For critics, you can like it or not, but be honest. For haters, find another way to hate Rajinikanth because Darbaar isn't going to be hated by anyone; not even by you guys.
Rajinikaanth has proved to be worthy of the title "Superstar", once again.
Aniruth is not visible in the movie, until you start realizing that there was music in it. The music is intertwined with the movie, that you will not remember it; that's what music directors should do in my opinion.
