This movie is racist piece of work. This movie is just four white people trying to make an old and respected Chinese tale into a movie, that disrespects both the Disney animation and the original tale. I would say it at least impowers women but it doesn't, it just shows Mulan over power men by brute strength. It doesn't even display a strong women aside from Mulan herself, and if it did then it would show Mulan's sister not falling under oppression by male dominant system. I would say more but my English is limited and it's the only language I really know. I am not Oriental myself, but I had a Oriental friend complain to me about and I watched it from her perspective and this is what I came up with.
