Considering there are some notable actors in this film it doesn’t come together on screen, what we get is a poorly acted mash up of a terrorist plot to kill an assortment of infidels at various locations. The action scenes are laughable, the special effects are terrible and the storyline is so slow and predictable that the ending comes more of a relief rather than an exciting climax.

An entertaining if overlong revenge filled shoot em up movie. It’s a little clunky in pace and some scenes are just confusing. If you leave your critical thinking at the door and pick it up on your way out you should enjoy this movie.

This show has stopped being funny. I just finished watching the first of the new episodes. 15/2/2020. Louisa performing cpr on a breathing patient? I know they’re trying to be funny, but that’s just silly. Morwenna doing chest compressions on Al and cracking a rib is ridiculous. It’s one of the first things you learn when doing a 1st aid course, you don’t perform cpr on a conscious patient. If the patient might die, a cracked rib is a small price to pay to keep the blood pumping. Otherwise it’s actually dangerous. I think the show has run out of stories and should bow out gracefully, but it may already be too late.

Just sit back and enjoy this clever, if a little messy movie. Every actor does their part in this tangled and intertwined story of lies, treachery and deceit and what starts off as a simple tale of a stagecoach with a bounty hunter and his prize slowly bubbles into a Tarantino special you have to see to the end.

Don’t bother with this one, Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum and Brad Pitt deserve much better material to work with than this warmed over Mummy meets Indiana Jones mash up of a train wreck.

This pretty much is, Groundhog Day meets Die hard, I won’t give too much away, but if you want an action packed movie with a high body count you should enjoy this outing with the man who plays Crossbones in Captain America, Frank Grillo. He has some good comedic as well as action chops in this thrill ride as he has to, not only save his family but the world, he has an advantage in that his estranged partner has given him the ability to relive a day and piece together the hardest puzzle he will ever face.

Beautifully filmed on an isolated island, three lighthouse keepers find a body washed up after a storm, things fall apart from there as a small wooden chest brings much trouble to the island.

The cast give it their best but they’ve not been given much to work with. The story is weak and predictable and not structured like a typical X Men movie. There’s no real bad guy to fight and the Big Brother watching over things doesn’t present itself other than through e mails conveyed through Dr. Reyes who is some kind of mutant herself. Overall I can’t help but feel disappointed after waiting so long for its release and the overblown budget for this movie will sadly not be recouped.

Beautiful scenery, good acting. A few plot holes but, could’ve been a good movie, something like “The professional “, maybe a twist at the end, alas no, just a confusing ending with no real answers. Disappointing.
