Hello people,
Probably I’m too late to watch a set of seasons that takes us through a journey never been portrayed on Indian silver or golden screens (that’s what they call it right?). So, lets get into my reviews on both the seasons of TVF tripling. Not to mention, you might find some spoilers if you haven’t watched it, so beware.
The story starts with a guy who has stayed loyal all his life and gets ditched by his wife who calls in for a divorce. Frustrated by his situation, he gets fired and world suddenly starts going down for him. In the time of crisis, he chooses to come back to India to his family just to find out that his siblings are not in a better shape too. They somehow happen to share a road trip where they reconnect to the nostalgic times. They rediscover that connection that had been lost while they chose to become busy in their own lives. All the crazy stuffs that happen on this road trip is the plot of the show.
While I start talking about the cast, I believe Sumit Vyas lacks a little in terms of providing that intensity when it is needed. Although, turns out to be the best choice when it comes to the old school character and gives justice to the “bada bhai” compared to other two. Maanvi as usual is a sweetheart and I would have been surprised if it would have been played by someone else. Yet, I personally find few of her portrayals as the queen too unnatural. Chitvan (Amol Parashar) plays his part as the kid of the gang but waves off when it comes to acting serious. Individually they seem a little loose at times but when taken as a gang, they couldn’t have been more perfect. In short, chemistry plays the right cues when needed and makes the story well behaved and streamlined. Basically, that 2% issues that I noticed can be easily overlooked upon for they all have a great sync which is required when you make a film.
Direction, photography and background scores as well as the motivating creations touch your heart and suit the storyline too.
All in all, it’s a masterpiece created by a set of IITians, unjustified to be called as novices. I believe the team of TVF has a great potential to take Indian cinema to a next level where we can compete against some of the great works existing in the overseas market.
My ratings : 5/5 (Inspite of being a non-conventional offbeat plot, it was difficult to point out any flaws in the creation and delivery)
