Totally enjoyed it. At times somethings are predictsble but still kept you interested.

Absolutely phenomenal adaptation of the original movie. The cinematography, music and character portrayals were engaging and kept the energy flowing like living water. The musical soundtrack was very creative and was woven in the fabric and consciousness of Alice Walker's novel. The spiritual dimensioms will touch the core of your soul. A must see experience.

It is always a challenge to reach the bar set by the original and this version had more depth. The special effects were awesome and the screenplay was entertaining with several good themes. I enjoyed it and as with any movie it is your call and you should check it out.
