This movie has its ups but has a lot of downs. 1st. The Story/Script: like its written by a high school student. A bland uninteresting/predictable story that doesn't follow the marvel formula like we know and love. 2nd: Acting okay Samuel L.Jackson was great and Brie had some part where she shined. but over all since the story was very bland not much could be done to elevate the story with their acting. Brie seems very un-charismatic for Captain Marvel very stone faced. Although we have some parts that she did well, she seemed very unrelated also un-human philosophically. Either that was the bad scripting or her actual skill level. 3: CGI: oh boy this movie is unrepresentative of today's feats that can be done with 3d rendering. With powerful computers we are able to create many great effects but it seems we cant have brie's hair wave naturally during some fight scenes as well as Samuel's face staying in one place. It just sad it look like it came out of 2012 or something. Overall it reallly doesnt cut it for a A list big budget movie franchise to make these types of mistakes. and dont get me started on the immature/political jokes that don't add anything to the franchise or make the slightest of giggles. Just bland comedy that one may get at an empty stand up comedy bar night, insensitive, ill thought, and badly executed
