When J. Wan tried his hand at a 80’s horror and killed it, I hoped we would get more of these amazing original directors trying their hand at the common movies that we have seen a million of before - just so they could do it better with their unique spins on the story telling. M. Night starts out by making it clear WHO we should be rooting for. But times have changed! Society has changed and he KNOWS it so if you want to enjoy a suspenseful chair gripping 1.45 hours of insanity as we follow a serial killer trying to escape his come-upens - All While the director showcases how messed up we are over a pretty face and our mixed up morales or are we the ones that are messed up?? Just Because we are rooting for someone to escape OR FACE THE MUSIC AND maybe GET HELP? Either way this was a super fun, suspenseful, humanizing movie of those we should not root for - Or should we root for everyone to get help? Get caught and get help? M. Night plays with us In a world of gray of who is the bad guy anymore? The bad guy? his abusive mother? His spouse that never confronted what was wrong? The society that fails men and shames them out of Ever EVEN THINKING they can get help? Well push play and enjoy the ride As We just get caught up being afraid for everyone in this movie! Amazing 5 stars again!

You want to break the world and your own mind? Start by making a loving family choose who to sacrifice…. M. Night had me convinced I would never believe, and could only doubt, this incredible premise but by the end I was fighting back emotions at what we all know - how do we sacrifice ourselves for this “undeserving” world? We do it for our children. Dave Bautista’s performance deserves an award, his calm demeanor with turmoil underneath of what he is holding onto as truth shone through amazingly! Rupert Grint started the movie off strong and gave me REAL doubt 20 minutes in. His acting and performance was short but shook me to the core. His acting infected fear onto me and I was shaken the rest do the movie. Bravo for another masterful heavy hitter. M. Night did not disappoint.

You think originality is dead, You think twists will fall flat or stale, But Mr Peele does it even better than ever before. Remember all the questions from his other movies? You will not see this movie’s twists coming! You think you know what it’s about but it’s completely “other”! He still is making us think, laugh, cringe, question, need to Google after, watch his interviews to get it more, and scare us silly. Great cast with the new actors. I love that he featured an actress this time as well. The brother-sister narrative goes through an amazing horrifying journey and end up closer. Not just a horror UFO film to watch once but again to get even more! Best type of movie is this type of movie that scares, builds, fights, scares, builds, confuses us, and great closure hahaha. Thank you Mr. Peele for yet another amazing journey! Please continue making more for those of us who crave what you are story telling!

Some of us know that M. Night has hit on the hero mythology much earlier than 2008’s Iron Man, which I love Iron Man but in a way you love getting flowers but then they die. Why? No substance, it didn’t make you think, it didn’t peak curiosity, it’s just done. I’m not going to watch it again for maybe a decade, literally. Then we have the league M. Night is in. A world that exists, where we are. Director Andre hits hard on this story being realistic, grounded, and suspenseful. All’s the effects make it seem like a big budget film. Talent will always show through despite budget honestly. This movie falls in line with M. Night and that’s the greatest compliment I can give a movie. It’s a 10/10. But Director Andre gives us something more, different, and unique than M. Night, because this is a movie about an American in a foreign place. So we get to follow an Alice in wonderland type world too, that’s here, right across the pond as they say! It made me excited to think about the beautiful location where it was set and when I can visit. The acting was on point for a grounded realistic movie. The action and effects were incredible! Recommended highly as a PG13 movie, the gore is no where near American movies just saying. No idea why it’s R, I even looked it up there’s hardly any gore. Peter Pan 2003 has more death and gore XD Won’t forget watching this fine wine of a movie.

Andrew Garfield, still the greatest Spider-Man of all time. I said what I said.....love you too Tom <3 but the heart wants what it wants. Watch this becoming of age superhero movie and be uplifted that even in the face of injustice, a person can still have grace. Way to go spidey!

(No spoilers) If you have ever lost someone, Had your expectations for life be shattered, and gave up believing you could ever heal - this is the faith restoring movie you need to watch. If you have ever been manipulated, gas lighted, and told repeatedly you are crazy - this is just the movie to help your resolve to push back. Overall, Lana Wachowski gave us a journey of retaking one’s power with help, regaining our purpose, and, best of all, having a love that helps us remember who we are even better than we know ourselves. We start in a mystery whirlwind of callbacks and fresh character introductions of Neo seekers, on the hunt for the greatest machine fighter of all time. Then go onto a mind bending soul crushing box that our hero is trapped in and told it’s good for him that maybe even he wants a little. We go onto some twists (surprise Neo wants to save Trinity), amazing character flexing, world building and explanation (perhaps a little too much because I loved the mystery of the original) but it left a fair amount for follow up! The cinematography with the colors as story telling hints were on point the majority of the movie. The romance, the yearning, and the heart of the movie was clear with more left for the horizon. The acting was on par! Thank you KR & C-AM for coming back! The music was in some areas amazing. There are some priceless moments for laughter. (I’ll never forget Neo’s attempt to fly again.) Some fight scenes had beautiful moments of clarity while Some of the fight scenes were not all they could have been. I am left with asking, why, because I know Wachowski is a master at this. If the audience was meant to be confused due to some character confusion of what he’s fighting for and if he really wants it...it wasn’t that clear. Overall, its a movie that rejuvenates and restores peace even when knowing there are more battles to be fought. If you’re trapped in a rut, in a relationship of madness, in loss, and, overall, have been kicked around by life - this is your movie. Let’s be honest, we have all felt this way at one point or another so it’s really everyone’s movie. Lana Wachowski, we see you flying and hope it continues that way!

The Greatest Feel Good Movie Of All Time. Will Smith takes the whole family back to the core values of love, faith, and perseverance in the face of prejudicial adversity and circumstance. A loving parent can move mountains and a child willing to cultivate their talent can change the whole world. This story should be shared! You won’t regret sharing this movie with your family.

This is not your good old fashion slasher horror film. This is James Wan having fun as a master of horror and gore. Yet, this is what a slasher horror film should always have been. If James was trying to rub his expertise in the faces of those who have come before him with iconic characters or iconic ideas (scream, Halloween, Freddy, etc) who dwindled down to selling cheap scenes of full frontal scenes and gimmicky blood splatters, then James succeeded. I feel gypped by every other horror movie that didn’t master the mystery, the story, the twists upon twists, and, of course, the extreme tension of knowing what’s coming. This movie is another in a long line of amazing scary movies, but James also hasn’t gotten tired or scared of trying new things. The crisp look, the contrasting color plays, the amazing lighting and new camera angles are amazing. The music makes this a different movie than many will expect. The comedic moments that James plays with, reminds us, life doesn’t follow a movie. There are funny moments even among scary moments! In truth, there were 2 moments in the beginning flash back opening scene that were cheesy but going back thirty years in the past May just do that to someone - make them want to give ode to those old fashion cheesy power lines from the days that horror movies were more about the tension, the words, and beautiful actresses, along with a sprinkle of a good idea. If you want to know what horror should always have been look up James Wan and his movies after Saw, movies he’s produced and the works of fellow colleague Leigh Whannel (go ahead skip most of the SAW movies). You won’t be disappointed. You probably just won’t be able to sleep well at night again XD
