One of the best movies of 2024 and one of the most interesting war films I have seen in a long time, as exposes the point of view of war photographers who's war came home, adding lot of opportunities for the cast to shine, and every single actor in this movie is terrific. Of course Kristen Dunst, Bailee Spaeny, Wagner Moura and Stephen mc kinley are perfect, but everyone else are as well (Jesse plemons is just incredible by the way considering he just did the part in one day as the actor that was supposed to do it couldn't ). I am not American, never went to USA (nor have the intention or interest in doing so) and I understand the movie 100% and I think the exposition of the plot is perfect, giving enough clues to understand what (and why) happened but leaving enough open not to saturate with unnecessary exposition. Because this movie does not focus into the horror of war, nor tries to give a history lesson, but focus into how stupid the human being can actually be, no matter how many centuries of evolution we have, will keep making the same mistakes running in circles and believing we are going in a straight line. And that is a very smart (and brave) way of making a movie like this in this time were people wants to be explained everything so they don't have to think.

Not as good as Jim Thomson's book, but definitely a good adaptation of a very difficult writing. Like the book, its disturbing as hell, but while the book is a masterpiece that destroys your brain, the movie is not. If you can choose, Just read the book

This is the first best movie oscar that I cannot watch more than 20 minutes. I dont know what moved the academy to give the award to this terrible and unoriginal mess. The only reason I can think off is some twisted agenda. This will be first in the list of worst oscars winners for a long long time. Sorry for all the really good movies that came this year.

This show reminds me cube (1997) with the difference that cube was more compelling with a fraction of the budget. I give it 3 stars because the acting and the cinematography are 4/5 but the pace is PAINFULLY slow and repetitive. And those silent scenes one after the other just make me think if the producers are giving me a test to my patience. The setup is actually interesting and engaging at first, and I think it could have worked well (for me) in a closed 5 or 6 episode mini series. But in no way I will be watching multiple seasons of this.

One of the best movies of the year. Why so many people who didn't watch the movie hated it, when pretty much everyone who actually watched the movie like it, that could be the subject for a book.
