Overtly dramatic imagery and music with a shocking lack of substance - Mark Ruffalo appears to have a serious drinking problem, or has become a horrendous actor. There was no chemistry between his character and the wife. The atmosphere was dark, anxious, and very hurried. The movie lapses into a series of poorly constructed scenes presented over a time line...much like an amatuer hour documentary might be presented. It was awful acting and story telling and seemed to trivialize the whole court case - seeming to make a joke, as if this were a typical American hardship, especially if you're mountain folk - "Getting cancer and fighting the big boys." The director should make a movie instead of an expensive montage.
