Teacup is an extraterrestrial on earth sci-fi series that has the potential to be interesting. But, I didn’t enjoy the writing or directing. Many of the actors have clout, but they can do only so much. There is certainly entertainment value,…especially if you’re like me and you’ve watched pretty much everything really good. As of today, 10/27/24, six of the eight episodes are available to watch. We’ll see if the last two can save this season, and if there will even be a 2nd.

Lots of bad writing. Lots of bad acting. But entertaining enough in a time of lacking new fantasy and sci-fi shows to certainly provide entertainment. The writing and/or acting was so bad at times that I would literally laugh out loud and shout “So bad!”,…like when and there was a hole in the ship the team exited but they weren’t weightless until they went through the hole which makes one think that maybe there’s a shield but then what exactly is creating the sudden breeze inside the ship? LOL. There are definitely some actors in this series with bright futures. And some that…well…perhaps just need to keep at it. Watch it with no expectations and maybe it’ll get you thru to the next quality sci-fi show.

Hmm,…not a blockbuster. But, if you have 3 hours to kill and feel like you’ve watched EVERYTHING, then grab some snacks and hunker down. The multiple storielines jump around and seem a little hurried at times while ironically crawling along. I occasionally found myself rewinding and rewatching bits because I thought I missed something important,…I didn’t. Not as bad as Waterworld. Not as good as Dancing With Wolves.

High entertainment value. 4 stars instead of 5 because it’s not perfect. But it’s really good. If you’re a fantasy fan and have watched everything else out there, then add this to your list.

This show is pretty bad. Mostly due to the writing. I’m giving it 3-stars because it’s so bad that I couldn’t stop watching. So at the very least it kept my interest, albeit it’s along the lines of watching a train crash. Much of the acting is pretty good, but there are subpar moments. Then again, even the best actors can only do so much with poor writing. If you like sci-fi and have watched everything else during this pandemic, then what the hell,...give it a shot. You might find yourself rolling your eyes from time to time, or LOL-ing at absurd moments, but stay lighthearted and you may find something with which to pass the time.

Not the worst movie I’ve ever seen. Far from the best. There’s entertainment value, but that’s pretty much it.

It’s a blast! It’s a girls vs boys throw down in the playground. Fun female powered sugar coated action! Don’t overthink it. Just sit back and enjoy it for what it is.

So good. The cross-cultural collaboration was authentic and captivating. A couple times the boys seemed a little culturally insensitive, but not out of malice. Overall great series.

Mostly over produced and over acted. A few solid roles executed well, but overall lacks authenticity of characters and feel of time period. Historically well referenced. Lots of action prevents nodding off.
