hello! to the people who are saying this was an awful movie due to certain “plotholes” let me clear some things up.
1. The man was not trying to be efficient in his killing. This man is a murderer, so obviously he’s pretty sick. he likes the hunt. If you want another story like this read “the most dangerous game”. this book has a similar concept in that the man hunts humans because animals are not a challenge anymore.
2. To the people saying cops don’t have neck tattoos and it was ridiculous to believe him: There was a blinding flashlight shone into the boyfriends eyes, and believe it or not a LOT of cops have tattoos. I have seen so many cops in real life with whole sleeves. Lastly, he was pretending he got a radio call in the middle of the night. Cops aren’t these perfect, godly humans who wear their uniform 24/7 and look like god himself. Some cops have been criticized for not wearing uniforms on duty and this was probably an emergency call that was called in.
3. To the people saying he teleported to the bathtub....did you pay attention? when you are looking at the protagonist you can see glass being broken in the background. he is breaking the glass. The reason she was able to feel him behind her was not some innate sense, it was because he was being cocky and speaking. she felt his hot breath on the back of her neck.
4. I will say, the fact that the glass pane on the door was NASA grade was a bit of a stretch. Some of the flexibility of the main character in the movie was a bit much, and of course the protagonist made dumb decisions, BUT you don’t know how you would act in a situation like this. I for one would definitely die if i was in this situation and honestly, you probably would too lmfao, so the fact that she did a few silly things is understandable.
also this is a movie, realism isn’t its number 1 priority. overall, i think this was a really entertaining movie and i recommend it :)
