I enjoyed this very much. I was born and raised in the UK but have lived in Canada for many years. I have quite a few Croatian friends here and it’s nice to see the mixing of cultures. It was nice to see the City of Bristol playing an important part in this series. I thought that it was very well acted and the British actors did a great job with their Croatian accents. Like most Europeans, family means everything and loyalty to the family is extremely important. No matter what, this Croatian family sticks together even though they’re involved with drug trafficking through the port of Bristol.

I rarely watch this show because it’s so biased against the UK and the British Royal Family. I’m a Canadian Citizen but was born and raised in the UK. Aside from Melissa Grelo, all I hear about is colonialism. The other 3 hosts haven’t got a clue about the Sovereign Grant or about how much money the UK gives and has given in aid to Africa, the West Indies and other Commonwealth countries. The UK has taken in millions of people when things went wrong in their countries but that never gets mentioned. The British abolished slavery in 1833 but the United States, France, Spain and Portugal still continued the practice. I would suggest that the descendants of these countries approach the King of Spain and other government heads for reparations to the parts they played in colonialism and the Spanish Inquisition of 1492! If Jamaica wants to become a Republic, then go ahead but do it properly by a referendum and proper presidential elections which Barbados didn’t do but don’t come running when things go wrong which has happened many times in the past because it will be out of luck!

I loved Barbara Walters who created this show. I only watch it now because I love Whoopi and Joy Behar. I also like Ana Navarro but there it ends. Sunny has a chip on her shoulder and she needs to get her facts straight. Sara Haines blows hot and cold and is completely clueless when it comes to the Royal Family and what it does. Great Britain ended slavery in 1833 not 1834. I’m a British Canadian and we never had segregation. I went to school in England with Nigerians, Ghanaians and many other children of colour. We played together, ate together and rode the bus together. Prince Charles has done a tremendous amount of good work through the Prince’s Trust for the black community. Idris Elba is one actor who received benefit from this Trust. Americans need to look into their own backyard first before criticizing others!

I love this show. I remember the Cold War very well. I was a World War II baby, born and raised in the UK. I’ve met many Germans over the years who told me their stories of how they escaped from East Berlin to the West, risking their own lives in the process. Unfortunately, history repeats itself and we’re witnessing that today.

I’m really enjoying this show and a lot of what took place in 1906 in Austria seems to be happening again, especially with regard to the Baltic States and Anti-Semitism.

I really enjoy this show as I love history. Even after all these years, women are still fighting for equality.
