This show may not be the same as the original, but there are some things that I like about it. For instance, the cameos of the other H-B characters like Yankee Doodle Pigeon, Hong Kong Phooey, Scrappy-Doo, etc. I also like getting to see how the racers spend their time off. Do I miss the Anthill Mob, Rufus Roughcut and Sawtooth, the Army Surplus Special, Pat Pending, the Slag Brothers, Red Max, and Luke & Blubber Bear? Yes. Regardless, I still like this show for what it is.
