Great and sad parody of our obsession with social media where all news is equal, whether it’s the end of the world or two celebrities breaking up. The comet is like the pandemic with people for and against its existence based on their political ideology, even though there is expert proof of the comet’s real trajectory towards earth. People are shallow, arrogant and ignorant. Everything is a brand and money is the solution even if everyone dies. The President is a vile human and getting re-elected is more important then people’s lives. It is a funny movie but sad since it reminds us who we really are.
