The plot has potential but fell terribly short. The acting was terrible. I could appreciate the philosophical banter between the husband and wife except there was absolutely no chemistry between them and she seemed almost hateful towards him most of the time. It wasn't until another character asked him about his wife that I realized they were indeed married. Before that, I thought perhaps it was a brother-sister situation where the brother was taking care of his wheelchair-bound sister. I got the feeling they were resentful of one another, not that they were married. Even the attempted tender moments were not really very tender. It ended with the expected shocking conclusion that was not really a conclusion at all.
