Although it was pychological in nature, this movie is not gripping nor intense enough. I am supposed to feel empathy for the main character but i don't because those related scenes are boring. It has a few plotholes and is mostly dull in feel. The ending was not that surprising as expected either.

Good movie overall. Positives - 1. It is fast paced. No characters waste screen time explaining the situation so that the audience can understand. I had to keep up with the pace. Kudos for that. 2. Nice to see that A level villains are being used as pawns by another villain who seems to step ahead of batman. Brilliant. 3. Gadgets that batman has got in this movie are good. I mean kryptonite knuckle busters are impressive. Negatives - 1. There was no need to drag or include most of the villains batman has ever fought and all the characters in batman universe into one movie just to prove the superiority of this "mastermind supervillain". 2. Don't make light of Bane and Joker. As a fan we have huge respects and expectations from them. Was disappointed to see joker just have 5 mins of screen time (perhaps?) and bane has turned into Hulk smashing everything. 3. There is a reason Bruce Wayne doesn't show interest in any woman because of the responsibilities and lifestyle he has. Even if he wanted to, he couldn't. That being said, he did not have to make it with Catwoman. I personally felt it to be unnecessary. 4. The ending is in ruins. If it was revealed at the very last who Hush was, it would have been more interesting. After the interrogation scene, everything was predictable. It was worth watching just so to see old characters again.

Now this maybe a rant, but, stop trying to make every historical tv series feel like GoT. The formula just doesn't always work nor does the style of narration. As for my personal opinion, the first three seasons of the Vikings series was really enthralling and interesting to watch. But the later seasons of 4 and 5 do not seem to live up to the expectations that were build up in the earlier ones. The style of narration changes in season 4 and really grinds up in 5 however, when Ragnar, Ecbert and Rollo are pushed to background and the main arc now revolves around the petty squables of Ragnar's sons, Lagertha, Aethelred and Floki (who till then was very respectable). Focus shifts, from the interaction of characters who want to achieve some goals and how they plan on it, to the individual characters and their feelings and emotions. It's no longer about what happened as a whole but more about what everyone is doing and thinking about something or other all the time. I really don't care what each character thinks about one another and am not interested in watching them have sex. Elaborated monologues of Floki in Iceland, hyping up Ivar's image as a tyrant, giving too much importance to side characters who rarely add any importance to the story and simply wasting shots focussing on their facial expressions are some of the biggest downsides of season 4 and 5. I really think the story narrated in 20 episodes can be cut short to 10. It is possible when half of the episode just consists of close-up shots of main characters and how they change their facial expressions. Atleast, we keep our hopes alive for S6.

After watching it from start to end, this movie is completely bland and very much predictable. There is nothing new in the film other than a ton of pop culture references. From start to finish, everything is according to the hollywood blueprint for a teenage/coming of age adventure movie. A protagonist who narrates his daily life to the audience, a world where everybody is free to do anything and his friends who they hang out with. Except there are bad guys who have evil motives and try to harm the whole teenage or adolescent population by doing something funny. However the hero stops the villain from doing so by uniting all the people to fight for the rights, or fight for their freedom and then they win with the protagonist becoming famous and everybody thinks they're special or unique. When I learned this was Steven Spielberg's direction, I was really laughing out loud how such an accomplished person could make something this stupid. Of course the intended audience is adolescent population in america who think they're special 'cause they live in a bubble. I always wondered if Hollywood was really about sequels, remakes and references lately but this movie proves it, it slaps me right in the face with it. P.s I really do not know if those VR devices are intended to make people look cool or in trend, but it definitely looked so stupid that people put them on and do weird moves thinking they are doing something great.

Heard a lot about it early this summer and today I finally decided to watch it. So here is my review. It has four individual stories of women are involved or want to be involved in a relationship and we are shown how and what they feel as their stories unfold. From a technical standpoint, all the four stories have great amount of work involved. The character development is very good, the art and sound are just right. There are small and healthy doses of humor added which is enjoyable. The choice of actors for the roles is appropriate and each of them have played the roles perfectly. From a deeper perspective, although it is intended to be for matured and highly educated audience who are possibly upper middle class and from high society, this film is hollow in that none of the stories narrated have a moral/lesson. They are worth watching once but not that worthy to come back for more. I was sitting pondering how each story was connected, was there a hidden secret, a deep rooted meaning or an easter egg for me to think about. Sadly (it may be only me), I couldn't find any. When one story ends, I felt I learned nothing from it except the third one with some really good storyline. Except for being good looking visual art pieces nothing is really conveyed that the audience can go back to. Maybe it was intended for that. A good coffee movie about relationships for women and matured audiences can watch once and go about their lives again. Maybe they were designed such that we could find a character which we could identify with and see our feelings through them. Or just like reading a book of short relationship stories. I don't know. Anyways, appreciate the effort.

Just binge watched the entire series along with the sequel movie. Most of the episodes scenes set in the school are quite boring to watch and the action is quite one-sided. Saya is able to easily defeat the elder bairnes but after all her friends are horrifically killed or eaten. The characters are designed to be too slender and a bit sexualised (I suppose animes are always like that). The twist in the end was executed well, its hints were planted early on but gave little clue as to the whole scenario. Overall worth watching. Would give it a B.

This movies differs from others due to the village backdrop and the visuals. The cinematography and shots are beyond words as each scene has excellent camerawork and artwork. The actors fit into the each characters pretty well but I'm surprised to not find Ravu Ramesh in this movie. The only negative is the lengthy narration. Director Sukumar has managed to put everything together but puts forward a story that is 3 hours long and very boring at the last. The songs are not properly placed as the mood of the song does not match the mood of the previous and next scenes as he tries to show two timelines. Overall worth watching once.

I think this movie is one of the best I've seen this year. It is well-written and is based mostly on the story unlike other films. It is light-hearted, emotional and surprisingly entertaining from the audience standpoint. The camerawork and locations are very good. My rating 4/5

Okay so the first part of this whole series of conjuring movies was good because it involved lot of silent scenes with unexpected events and plot turns but this movie is just another factory made version of that. The techniques used are the same old ones.....long silent scene with a door shutting or light flickering and then a jumpscare and it has taken it to a whole new level that now it looks made up and funny rather than original. Big thumbs down.

It's not that scary, just some random buildup to suspense because the plot doesn't allow many haunting scenes. A few jumpscares here and there and the climax is freaked up. The lead actor does the part convincingly but the movie as a whole is not that impressive.
