I do not think most men would enjoy watching this movie unless, perhaps, they have a passion for psychology. It is extremely "quiet" and slow-moving (rather like the two main characters) but it certainly is in proper keeping with the story-line. I WAS amazed at the understanding and emotional depth of the author, screen-writer, and director, especially toward the female subject with her obsession of her deceased "rival". Interesting, too, is the contrast between the thoughts, feelings, and reactions of the two genders. I felt it had a sad and telling ending,,,worthwhile If you like that sort of movie and can make it through to the end. Great "Golden Oldies" tunes abound!
