I found it dull, gray and somewhat boring, flat I call it. Her voice was beautiful (Ariel) her acting was good. Did not like Triton, I love his usual acting but Triton was uninspiring and almost timid. Scuttle I thought was fine, Flounder disregarding the shape and color issues given reality was much like Sebastian just not much of a character, Sebastian I kind of understand given you lose the facial opportunity, but Flounder not sure why so dull. Also it seems a lot of people liked Ursula but I was not impressed, wasn’t bad just didn’t have the “bigness” that she did in the cartoon.

i am probably a fanatic for anything King Arthur so biased I suppose i am. As far as the story line goes it is OK... but gets better as the series progresses and at the end it becomes really a great change to the story line. a couple of the characters you watch and then near the end all of a sudden you go "insert name here" before they reveal and the twists feel good. The acting is not bad and does get better. Part of the challenge is early i felt like, hmmm not really sure I like the way they are doing that so I think that creates a natural aversion to the actor. So overall recommend.
