Intriguing scifi adventure. The novel has an interesting an new plot. Reading the blurb it made me wonder what interesting the story could come out of such a simple looking premise. But it took me to surprise and I found myself glued to it. And finished the novel in one sitting. Love the antagonist in this novel as I think that was what made me feel more invested in the story. Portraying good villain is not an easy task and Hale seems to have carried that well. Can't tell anything more to reveal the spoilers and just waiting for the sequel.
