Ugh, I'm halfway through this drama. I wanted to drop it after the first episode but am still sticking around for the sake of Rowoon. The story is a mess. The heroine is a stereotype and not even fun to watch. She acts like a pick-me girl; her "aegyo" acting is so awkward and unconvincing. Rowoon's character is even worse—red flag 🚩 since day 1—very poorly developed. Romance is forced, and there is zero chemistry between them. The writing is bad, and the acting can't save it. Hopefully, Rowoon gets a better actress and a better script next time. 🙄 For those who gave 5 stars, go watch King's affection and Extraordinary You. This drama gets 1 star from me. Spoiler alert** Seriously, why would he kiss another girl and ask her out while he's still with his girlfriend??? 🚩 A cool, rich kid, cold-headed lawyer who could quit a big law firm on the spot finds it so hard to terminate a romantic relationship that no longer serves him? 🙄 Does it make sense for a smart lawyer to not know about his girlfriend's true colors, and everything is exposed magically after two freaking years of dating? 🙄 🚩 Love potion or previous life stuff doesn't justify cheating. It is what it is.

Overrall it's a brilliant drama. However, i can only give it 4 stars because the extended episodes' handling of Cheon Woo Bin/Na Wang Shik's absence was a significant misstep, diminishing his previously central role and lacking even a flashback or acknowledgment of his passing. This was a considerable disappointment. I feel sorry for the much-loved character and actor Choi Jin Hyuk.

I'm not sure what they are trying to convey in this show. As if law enforcement is useless. They actually catch the culprit but then release the criminal so that the judge can execute justice outside of the court? Is sending murderers to hell justice? Are they justifying the killing of a judge because she is from hell? Kang Bi Na is literally a serial killer. The romantic development is quite unnecessary.

The title is so misleading. It is a story about the Grand Prince, not about the queen. 4 stars are for superb acting by Yeon Woo Jin (Lee Yeok) and Lee Dong Gun (the deposed King), and other supporting actors. Yeon Woo Jin is so underrated compared to those overrated popular actors in Kdrama land.. I wish to see him more in other projects. Minus 1 star for 2 reasons: Character Shin Chae Gyeong by Park Min Young is so irritating. Vulnerable, fragile, emotionally unstable and unsupportive (wish she could be more determined considering she is a noble, the prince Yeok's wife). She is good at being cute/naive and crying.. why does she always take action without verifying facts? is it that hard to communicate with Yeok about all her doubts??? he is the love of her life, her husband! Why does it bother her so much when she discovered the Prince is going to rebel and take over the Kingdom (he's gonna be the King, and she gonna be the queen?) She even suggested them to move to the countryside and live a peaceful life..Seono would not have to sacrifice if they did not leave the palace..she is stupid selfish considering the Prince is striving for his big goal withh his people.. The prince risks his life saving her many times for her impulsive reckless actions. In return she attempts to murder him. Until the end, she remains stupid and selfish for her family, her father who also stupidily refuses to support the PRINCE who is soon to be the king.. and why the hell did she not tell the truth when the ministered questioned about her relationship with the deposed king.. she would die either way, why lying?, why can't she believe him tel him the truth, help him fight but insist on breaking up and leave the king? Is he that weak to her??.she is so unbelievable! The writer probably doesn't like the heroin so much, how it is portrayed is terrible. The ending is realistic, but disappointing..

The show could've been better if the scriptwriter didn't spice it up with romantic relationship between Jin Woo and Hee Joo. The kisses under the rain and fitting room, both feel pretty awkward indisposed and unrealistic. I barely saw any chemistry between two actors over the course of 16 episodes. The drama makers could've focused more on developing 2 other key characters Se-Joo and Marco, developers of the AR game, Su Jin, Secretary Seo Professor Cha etc. There are just so many other cool characters who deserve more attention. Of course we do need take a breath with some relaxing twists after being thrilled by the killing game, but romance between Jin Woo and Hee Joo is quite unnecessary if not superadundant. Why would Jin Woo marry the second wife? Why did Sujin cheat on Jinwoo? Bromance between 3 founders of J one etc. there's a lot questions that need an explanation.regardless this is a great SF show to watch.
