Red One is a 2024 American Christmas action film that I found hilarious and innovative in its portrayal of a modern, athletic, and wise Santa Claus, diverging from the typical cliché. Initially skeptical due to J.K. Simmons' casting as Santa, knowing him for his role in Whiplash, he surprisingly delivered the best Santa performance. The film, however, isn't suitable for young children due to its language and intense scenes, making it more appropriate for teenagers and adults. I thoroughly enjoyed the Marvel-esque action with a Christmas twist and the creative integration of technology in gift deliveries. It's a film I wouldn't mind watching annually.

I wouldn't say I liked the movie; it was slow and had extended scenes. It looked to me more like a documentary. The sad message was that people kept going with their lives as if nothing was happening, but we were writing a horrible history. In my opinion, it was interesting to watch, but not for an Oscar nomination.

Outstanding performance from Adrien Brody and movie with good suspense. The mystery kept me curious until the very end. I highly recommend to watch this movie
