As a nurse I am so disappointed in a show that I was so excited for. I truly hope the writers get input from actual nurses going forward because I really would love to see a show about what it’s really like as a nurse, and to show the world what nurses go through on a day to day basis. One part that I really did like was when the nurse gave his chain for the mans wedding ring. That was truly a nurse going the extra mile and advocating for his patient. But like others have said we NEVER approach family about organ donation, and a physician would never ask us to. Also, what the heck is up with the head nurse and charge nurse? That’s not how it works, “sir”?! Seriously?! We are all fellow nurses and show respect to one another, despite what our title is for that shift, which btw is how that works. No one is ALWAYS charge, although it may feel like it. Also nurses do not just go Willy nilly through the hospital on different floors. We get training to our own specialty that we get hired on. I am just so disappointed so far. WRITERS: please save this show because there is potential there!!!!
