This is Kanye's White Album. It seems to be written and recorded out of spontaneity and pure and raw, emotional instinct. It's not meant to be polished. The album plays out in a disconnected fashion which gives it a special charm nonexistent on his other work. Think of the track-listing as a thousand mile journey from one musical island to the next: from the Bahamas to the Galapagos. This is a must-listen.
