Fantastic movie. Every thread is meticulously crafted without sacrificing one bit of the natural magical chemistry. The cinematography is fantastic as well, can't praise it enough. The premise of the movie is a bit flimsy though, and a bit of extended action could be traded for some more character building which the rest of the movie does in a phenomenal manner - but it's easily excused given how good the film is overall.

Absolute junk. Even hardcore socialists should stave off from watching this "documentary" which in reality is a childish, illogical smear campaign idolizing people who shirk personal responsibility. Not only with you not learn anything, but it will also annoy you to no end. The opening itself summarizes the whole film. It's designed to emotionally engage us with the nonexistent material, & make us feel sorry for the people depicted which does not work beacause the setup is so cringe worthy. On top of that Moore really has no point, expect "Capitalism is bad". It fails miserably. If you HAVE to watch something by Michael Moore, go watch the one on Guns instead.

Phenomenal show with an ending that goes downhill real fast. Here's why the climax sucked: (excuse me omitting the praise, you'll have to watch the mini series to find out -it's still worth watching though) The finale was a bit of a microcosm of the whole series. Great set-up and execution of incredibly tense scenes and moments of action, great performance by Madden, sloppy almost everything else. How many times in this show have previously normal characters suddenly turned into moustache twirling villains until the show directs the viewer's suspicions elsewhere and they just as suddenly go back to normal? They even did it with Budd at one point ffs And all the investigators wildly oscillating between dismissive, blindly trusting, and aggressively sceptical. The Nadia twist was the worst by far though. Maybe a better actress could have pulled it off but I doubt it. Hilariously awful writing in that scene. Felt like something from another show. And it retroactively ruins the opening sequence of the first episode, which was by far the best part of Bodyguard. Just when I didn’t think the finale could get any worse the Nadia scene came up. 1) yes all you need is a name and you can find out where a kid lives and goes to school 2) I’m sure it’s easy to pass on this information to your terrorist buddies when you’re IN PRISON for TERRORISM. 3) what good is She in prison? If she really is the mastermind why would she want MORE jail time? The police have zero evidence against her seemingly and then she just provides a damning confession that all but guaranteed to ensure she is incarcerated for many more years, if not life. 4) oh and I’m not an expert but I’m pretty sure it would Be counter productive for the bomb maker to actually go on to become a suicide bomber if there are more cells out there. Everything just magically falls into place - and rather awkwardly in the last episode. For a show, much of which hinges on much of its mystery (the romance is not integral to the story, ends abruptly halfway and the first sex scene is just awful) - the main character corners all the bad dudes convenienty about five minutes before credits roll - after diffusing a bomb strapped to himself. And the investigators become hilariously unprofessional at the end - onky to needlessly dramatize the last adrenaline injection. I had VERY high expectations for this show - set up by its own standards. Fails in that regard.

Absolutely phenomenal. One of the top ten best A shows ever made. Not only is it creative, the concepts ingenious, and the storytelling superb - but it also goads you to ask difficult questions.. Still, it is not for the faint of heart. *one more observation: I see so many reviews stating the show is about the human cost/ ethical / moral complications / scenarios that might accompany the advent of technology, but I always felt this was not so. Whatever may be the creators' intent (they have done a brilliant job) may be, I always held that the show allows us contemplate the deeply flawed aspects of human nature - the imaginative & futuristic technology is merely an effective tool that they utilize. Watch it to understand what I mean. After all, the machines themselves are involuntary agents, regardless of whether they exist now or not. It's the philosophical (& to some extent scientific) mysterys about human nature that fuel a deep feeling of unease within us after being immersed in every episode. That is, if you're already not experiencing a perpetual existential crisis. Transcend it.

Original and revolutionary. However, there is no singular structure to the whole narrative other than constantly drumming a single concept into our heads using different words. I wish they had displayed the actual technology with more details of how it works. And what is that ungodly background buzzing at 22:00? It was so unbeatable that I had to stop watching as it hurt my head.

Very pretty. A few slow moments in the middle, and surprisingly clever.

This is one of my favorite films of all time. I don't know why people hate it so much. Yes, the saturation is a bit high, and some of characters are a little over the top - but it's meant to be narrated that way - bigger than life.
