When reading the book, I felt that it was written very well from the plot, to the mystery, and especially character growth! I’ve only watched a couple episodes and nothing seems to truly grapple me in like the book did. The show seems to give off your typical “Netflix Teen Series” and I honestly expected more from it. It’s the smallest details from the book, that really gave it life that this series cut it off from.
