The concept was excellent, but the execution was pathetic. It managed to please the "woke" crowd by portraying contemporary America in the way they think it is, but also managed to maintain all the usual stereotypes of blacks and whites. This constant dichotomy in modern films for or by or featuring African-Americans - or all three - is choking the life out of some potentially great films.
