Right from the opening shot, the movie had me anticipating what will happen next. It's rare in horror movies that I struggle to trust almost every character, mostly because a lot of horror movies these days are painfully predictable. But not this one! The slowly building tension, the anticipation and the suspense gets unbearably intense towards the ending, which is a little bit underwhelming, (in my opinion) but the film is one of the most memorable horror movies i've ever watched. There were scenes that disturbed me so much I practically covered my mouth to stop myself from screaming. There were moments that were so creepy I had to pause and absorb whatever was happening. This movie is a whole package, it has everything: great direction, powerful performances, especially from Toni Collette (Annie) and impressive cinematography and editing that set the pace of the film just right. Make sure you watch it alone at night ;)
