" Things Fall Apart " by Chinua Achabe is one of the finnest illustrations of the dilemmas that post-colonialism brings with it. It vividly shows the contrast between the pre-colonial and post-coloniali time . What is more this novel is an apt illustration of the confusion and unrest through which native people have to go through , it's the protagonist "Okonkow " through whom Achabe mirrors the uncertainty . Moreover , the major themes of this novel are :- 1) Colonialism . 2) Masculinity. 3) Identity crisis.

This book in the simplest way teach us a lot , how we should become a bit less awful person . It tells us how we should free ourselves from the evil called overthinking in a friendly way.

Woke soyinka being a postcolonial playwright exposed the hostility and blind quest for power with utmost vividness in this play . In fact the play seems to mirror the prevelent situation of postcolonial time where there was a sudden need of a suitable leader to lead the nation, but instead being a good leader both of the Major characters viz. Kongi and Oba Danlola blindly tried to attain the throne putting all things down .
