The best translation of the Bible ever !
Jesus is not almighty God, but rather his Son, the firstborn of creation.
Jesus never claimed to be on the same level as Almighty God. He said: โThe Father is greater than I am.โโJohn 14:28.
Jesusโ early followers did not view him as being equal to Almighty God. For example, the apostle Paul wrote that after Jesus was resurrected, God โexalted him [Jesus] to a superior position.โ Obviously, Paul did not believe that Jesus was Almighty God. Otherwise, how could God exalt Jesus to a superior position? โPhilippians 2:9.
In his prayer to his Father, Jesus made a clear distinction between him and his Father when he said: โThis means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.โ (John 17:3).
Also consider John 6:38. There Jesus said: โI have come down from heaven to do, not my will, but the will of him that sent me.โ It says the exact same in the King James Version of the Bible.
This verse emphasizes Jesus's focus on fulfilling the Father's purpose in his earthly mission. It highlights that Jesus's actions and teachings were not driven by his own desires, but by the will of God the Father who sent him.
Lastly, Peter, one of the most esteemed apostles, stated in Matthew 16:16 who Jesus was. There it says: "Simon Peter answered: 'You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.'"
And Jesus in the following verse, verse 17, explicitly praises Peter for expressing the truth about his' (Jesus') identity.
There it says: "In response Jesus said to him: 'Happy you are, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood did not reveal it to you, but my Father in the heavens did.'"
Read these scriptures in the King James Bible and you'll find that it says the exact same thing (although in old English)
