Honestly, I can't say I enjoyed the show. In every Arthurian adaptation I saw, Merlin -as a mighty sorcerer, a game changer- was my favorite character; so I figured it must be fun to see all that in the form of a young man in his prime instead of the wrinkled old man we're used to. But not if he has got to keep all his abilities hidden FOR THE WHOLE SHOW! First when I started watching I thought his secret will be revealed soon, but now in the middle of the third season I found out Arthur will realize the truth only at the very last episode! and therefor my mighty favorite character is doomed to be reduced to a mere servant, even a joke sometimes during the entire show. The dynamic between characters in general and Arthur/Merlin in specific left much to be desired - even though I started watching with low expectations (due to the show being a tad old for my time) I can't say it was worthwhile. there were many ways to redeem the story line from getting stoke in the loop of Merlin saving the day and looking like an idiot, but apparently none of them were good enough for the writers. Perhaps I could like such story as an original, but not now when it's destroying the image of legendary Merlin carved in my brain since I was 9.

I watched all 3 seasons in a row, so it was very obvious to me at which point exactly they throw away the books and turned the show into a completely and utterly NETFLIXIAN cliché. I could practically see the script writers standing up and packing their things while surrendering their position behind the desk to some "original Netflix" writers who fill every show with LGBT characters, bullies, and look-alike MCs. Ever since then I didn't feel like I was watching Anne of Green Gables any more, but just some Netflix heroine who didn't have any characteristics of her own, and would solve any problem by bonding and regrouping with her pack like any other of her kind. I don't even start on how they just wrapped up everything on season 3 and ruined many story lines without actually finishing them, I just say that during the last few episodes I found it hard to stand the MC, who didn't possess any likable quality anymore , and was nothing more than a hypocrite and moody person. So, if you want to see Anne Shirley just watch the first season. That's all.

unlike most of other Kdrama i have watched, this one had a solid story. i didnt have to pause and wonder: where the hell did that come from?!! and when i watched the last episode and it was over, it didnt hang in my brain like an unfinished business! but im afraid to say i failed to love the lead characters. they were both alright, i just didnt like them and i dont know why! specially the romantic scenes were like they were being forced! i cant help but wish that pinocchio was made by different actors, or at least didnt have any romantic aspect.

the subject was quite unique,and the ups and downs of the story kept your head in the game,yet i felt as if the story line was chaotic and disoriented. there was no balance! no purpose! just a mess of interesting events and characters without any pre planed story. as if the story was written while it was being told. just like the webton itself! i think the idea had enough potential to be a great story or movie or else, but what we see in here is way, waaay far from what it could be, or what it had to be.
