Opening ten minutes.... I wanted to blurt out to the cinema 'this is the best one yet!'... Then an hour in I'm a bit like 'OK this is obviously tapering off to build up to something incredible'.... By the last hour I've nearly fallen asleep through total disinterest.... By the end I actually said to myself 'I'm done with star wars'....
Literally the same story beats as previous films with a sickly dose of constant back patting and overindulgent fan service.... And the Leia scenes are downright ridiculous.
What a disappointment!
(It all looks incredible though so top marks for eye candy)...
