I’am a big fan of sageuk. And got addicted to woo do-hwan since i watched him at King Eternal Monarch. Before him my fave k-actors were yoo ah in and kim soo hyun and watched all their kdramas🤣 so then i watched six flying dragons whereas bang won is the main character portrayed by yoo ah in and thats my top1 sageuk so while browsing to woo do-hwan’s kdramas i saw my country and yeah its historical so I immediately started watching it. And i have to say I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!! OMO😱 the ending is just so satisfying and i love the fact that its not focus on lovers story but more of friendship story. I also love hwi’s character his face is so sweet so as his voice the character suits him the best. Bang won wc portrayed by Jang hyuk is superB (watched him at deep rooted tree and i love his acting skills since then) i really love yoo ah in as bang won but Jang hyuk is just as perfect and in this story i understand bang won more where all his rage coming from. I can’t hate him but I’m not saying he is right to all his decisions. All and all My Country exceeds my expectation (tho seon ho and hwi are fictional characters) now listing it one of my top sageuks🥰 if u love historical kdrama pls watch six flying dragons, jang ok jung living by love, deep rooted tree and my country❤️
