I hadn't read Biggles since leaving primary school in 1961. 58 years later I'm surprised how good the stories are. Each story is quirkily interesting, based as the author says in his introduction on his experience flying in the First World War. Attitudes to war, women and the working class are not those of today, but neither are they so very different. SJWs will struggle to find much plausibly to enrage them.
