In 68 "The Population Bomb" and "The Death of the Sea" confirmed what I had been saying for a long time, that we were headed for the Apocalypse.
This book is still (if not more) relevant today.
We can not live without clean water and air and governments around the world are doing some things to help while we have a president who believes in magical thinking and if he says it it's true. Not So, but I agree with with what scientists say about handling these problems. We could easily use desalination, wind, hydro power and the Sun to avoid these problems. The problem is human greed that ignores these solutions because they are not profitable. Fossil fuels are dirty and have a limit.
One percent of the population on earth controls most of the wealth and it's not more evident than here in the U.S.
