Waited until 15th August to watch this movie. Beautifully portrayed journey of a hero. Siddharth Malhotra did justice to the character and had me hooked. Kiara as usual plays the normal Indian girl perfectly who is immensely in love and is comitted to the love of her life. No usual bollywood over the top drama in any of the scenes. Small but required details in the emotional scenes makes it look like you are reading a biography rather than watching a movie. I am glad the director stuck to the original story rather than using too much creativeness. The action sequences are shot very well and shows the incredible task performed by Late Captain Batra. Overall it's a treat to watch this was one of the most significant wars of the 90s. And stories like these need to be told more so that the generation coming up now knows what it means to sacrifice for this country.
