All women do when they are together is listen to each other's problems and don't even offer solutions. All men do is hurt anyone to get ahead in life and go to their "caves". The author used the cave metaphor and i think it was appropriate as he was describing cave men. Men are insecure and have the emotional intelligence of a two year old according to the book and all women do is talk endlessly about their problems.
