I would say go watch this film. See this movie as love story and nothing else. It is very beautiful and very emotional love story. I agree there were many problems in the movie relating partition and hindu-muslim conflict but i also believe that mainly this movie is about love story due to which writer or director didn't pay much attention to other things. This is what i think. This movie is not documentary, it is love story and i think people should watch as love story and i am sure they will like it that way.
