In my opinion, this game is a hit and miss. To be fair, the story needs improvement. First, I'll start with some of the good things about this game. The navigation system that helps you find items and enemies is very helpful. The graphics are impressive. Not only that, it gives options for accessibility for the disabled (blind, deaf). Voice acting is spot on, AI recognizes the names of the enemies and read your actions (location and knowing you are out of ammo). Now moving on with the negative side of the game...not a big fan of the storytelling. The new characters do not really tell much about themselves but based on their bad decisions. I feel like Ellie is not being treated fairly as a character but making her go through the most traumatic scenarios as possible to test her mentality values between what's right or wrong. Not only that, switching from protagonist Ellie to antagonist Abby back and forth is frustrating. I would rate this 7.5 out of 10.
