After reading the great reviews of this film I finally gave it a chance with an air of optimism however quickly felt myself becoming disappointed with every minute of the film. Don’t get me wrong, I am a massive DC fan, but I just didn’t get the hype of this Wonder Woman. Arguably, Gal Gadot does not have the right figure to be Wonder Woman, and her acting was awkward. Plus, I believe that as a representative of Wonder Woman off-set that you shouldn’t have any controversial politic opinions, hint hint. What I will give is the chemistry between Gal and her co-star Chris Pine, which was okay. The storyline was not satisfying at all, I just felt there should have been more, or that something was definitely missing. On the whole I just don’t think that Gal’s take on Wonder Woman will ever match up to her predecessor’s, Lynda Carter. I know people will say that ‘it’s Gal’s turn now for this generation,’ but this is only true when done correctly, and I feel she did not. This is my personal opinion and you don’t have to agree with it. 🙃
